Meet the team

"Hi, I’m Emma, the Registered Manager of Hilltop House.

I joined Footsteps to Futures 5 years ago as a Residential Care Worker and have worked my way through the ranks to become RM within 2 years and have completed Level 5 Leadership and Management.

After joining the team, I knew I wanted to progress and one day run my own home. The job has so many rewards; giving young people a chance to have a stable, nurturing, and loving home, but also being able to support staff to be the best they can be so that the young people are supported and feel wanted.

I truly believe that all children deserve the best possible start in life and my aim is to make sure that all young people I work with make positive, happy memories, learn the skills they need for life and to receive the right support to help overcome previous life experiences.

I love being with people that make me laugh, but hate being laughed at!

Between being a RM and a mum I am always busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way."
